A key upgrade feature available for Planmed Clarity+ is Planmed CEM™ ‒ an advanced imaging protocol that combines traditional mammography with an iodine-based contrast agent to enhance lesion visibility. CEM is a valuable diagnostic tool in clinical scenarios where MRI would typically be indicated. By highlighting areas of increased vascularity, CEM improves the detection and characterization of suspicious findings, particularly in dense breast tissue. Dual-energy imaging enables clear differentiation of contrast uptake, supporting confident assessment of breast lesions.
